1. Junior Planetarium Engineer (JPE) – One Post

Qualification : I Class – B.E./B.Tech Electronics/Instrumentation from an approved University.
Experience in using/servicing electronic and optical instruments, computer literacy, aptitude for working in multitasking environment.Essential: Knowledge of KannadaDesirable: Interest in astronomy, handling telescopes, science popularization with hands on activities/communication skills/exposure to classical music, art and literature.Age Limit: 30 Years as on the last date prescribed for receipt of application

2. Junior Scientific Officer (JSO) – One Post

Qualification : I Class – M.Sc. in physics or related topics from an approved University with aptitude for teachingEssential: Knowledge of Kannada, Basic astronomyDesirable: B.Ed, computer literacy, acquaintance with modern teaching methods including programming both in Kannada and English. Aptitude for developing innovative experiments, teaching aids, communication skills, exposure to music, art and literature.Age Limit: 30 Years as on the last date prescribed for receipt of application
